Porsche 911 GT3 RS Review
The New 2019 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Driven
In this video from Carfection, Henry Catchpole reviews the new GT3 RS while exploring the lesser known Südschleife (“South Loop”) of the famous Nürburgring complex in Germany. While the Südschleife is now a public road it was once part of the “whole course” which was 22.8 kms long. Henry also takes it for a blast on the Nordschleife (“North Loop”).
Based on the current GT3, the motorsport-derived GT3 RS is Weissach’s latest offering and features a 383 kW (520 hp), four-liter, flat 6, high-speed (9,000 RPM) naturally aspirated engine and can accelerate to 100 kl/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds.
